This is a genuine late WWII front seam M 1C helmet shell with original finish (the 82nd Airborne decals were added after the war possible for Korean War use). The liner is also an original WWII liner with all original components rigger modified to be an airborne liner for Korea. This M 1C paratrooper helmet is what would have been used during WWII by members of the various Parachute Infantry Regiments towards the end
